BOGOF crashes the royal wedding reception
The royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton is sure to go down as one of the most talked about events of the year, if not the century. But who was talking about it, and what was being said? Weve got some BOGOF bingo balls to tell the story...
3 - Close to three million messages on social networks were generated about the royal wedding during a 24-hour period. A massive 95 per cent of these were on micro-blogging site Twitter, with only three per cent being made on Facebook.
35 - The Webtrends statistics show that Kate Middleton wasn't the most talked-about woman at the ceremony. That honour went to the Queen, who was mentioned 35.1 per cent of the time across all posts. Prince Harry was second with 20.5 per cent, followed by Pippa Middleton with 14.7 per cent.
56 - The US generated the most buzz regarding the royal wedding. Some 55.8 per cent of interest originating from the States, followed by the UK with 16.9 per cent and Australia with 3.2 per cent.
