North east luckiest for online bingo

The north east is the luckiest area of the country for online bingo, it has been revealed.
Research from an online bingo site shows the average internet player in the region won more than those living anywhere elsewhere in the UK between October 1st 2008 and September 30th 2009.
Although lady luck was clearly shining on north-east England, Wales was not far behind.
Online bingo fans may be interested to know that Northern Ireland, the west midlands and the south-west of England complete the top five.
The survey also makes interesting reading for DJ Talent, the star of the hilarious DJ Talent BOGOF Bingo ads, who lives in London.
According to the figures, Greater London is the tenth luckiest region in the country for online bingo players.
Harrogate - the online bingo town
Moreover, there's an interesting insight into which towns have the most online bingo stardust.
Perhaps it's to be expected that the north east provides the number one spot, with Harrogate recording the highest average winnings in the entire UK.
But somewhat more surprising is that Exeter comes in second, followed by Dudley, Cleveland and Norwich. And our commiserations to DJ Talent because London fails to make the top ten.
However, the gold-toothed free bingo fan should not be too downhearted.
It was reported last month that none other than Susan Boyle had given the thumbs up to DJ Talent's club anthem, which is based on the tune he performed to Simon Cowell in October 2008.
And earlier this summer, Piers Morgan wrote on his blog that the song 'I say Britain, you say talent' had "number one written all over it".
