Gay Bingo winds up at ICA

Free bingo session to finish
It's the end of an era for free bingo fans in London.
On Saturday, February 6th 2010, the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) near Charing Cross tube station will host its final Gay Bingo session, reports View London.
The event has developed a cult following among the gay community thanks to a heady mix of dancing, dressing up, drinking cocktails and of course playing free bingo games.
As always, drag queen and legendary extrovert Jonny Woo will be compering, ably assisted by DJ John Sizzle and free bingo caller Ma Butcher.
One thing to bear in mind, however, is that entry is strictly over 18s only.
Admission is free for ICA members or £3 for non-members and, while advance tickets have already sold out, a limited number will be available on the door from 730pm.
A brief history of Gay Bingo
Gay Bingo is one of the most celebrated gaming sessions in the capital.
Down the years, it has enjoyed residencies at some of the most popular venues in town including the T Bar and the Old Truman Brewery before arriving at the ICA.
Jonny Woo has even transported his free bingo extravaganza to the fields of Glastonbury, where it proved a surprise hit among festival goers.
Regular readers of the BOGOF Bingo blog will know that Gay Bingo recently embarked on a brief UK tour over the festive period.
Jonny Woo, Ma Butcher and John Sizzle took their popular free bingo show to Selfridges stores in Birmingham, Manchester and London during the run-up to Christmas.
