Strange goings on in free bingo world
Free bingo seems to have had more than its fair share of strange surveys.
Last year, for example, we reported on the results of a study that looked into which zodiac sign is best for online bingo (Taurus, apparently).
And you may also recall another 2009 blog that supposedly proved people in the north east won more bingo games than anyone else in the country.
Well, we may have entered a new decade but there doesn't seem to be any letup in sight just yet.
Free bingo in the bedroom
The latest study looks into the vexing question of what effect online bingo has in the bedroom department, according to the Paisley Daily Express.
To obtain their results, an online bingo site conducted a poll of men in Renfrewshire - a picturesque part of Scotland to the south west of Glasgow.
And a whopping 70 per cent of men confessed that their sex lives had gone on a downward spiral due to their partners' passion for the popular numbers game.
Commenting on the results, a spokesperson for the online bingo website struck a sober note, saying: "The results of this survey may raise a smile, but they could also have serious relationship implications."
Free bingo addiction
Of course, it's possible that an extreme dose of free bingo addiction has put a strain on a few relationships down the years.
Winning a game is a pretty incredible feeling and there aren't many things in life that come close to matching the thrill of a full house.
But can it really be true that seven out of ten relationships are suffering because of free bingo?
